My name is Michelle Ottley, also known as “Baby Nurse Shelly” or “Shelly Poppins”, and I am an experienced Newborn Care Specialist. I have over 20 years of experience caring for newborns, and I truly love my job! It is a great honor to share my experience and expertise with new parents.
I am passionate about providing families with all of the support they need, whether it be overnight care, live-in or live-out baby care services, or 24/7 care for the newborn. I am ready to travel with any family as well! I have numerous recommendations from happy parents, and have been recognized as an expert in sleep training.
I am an expert in newborn care and will guide and coach you as you adjust to the incredible journey of parenthood. I will provide your baby with the best care possible by ensuring they are well care and well loved, and will share my years of experience.
I am experienced and compassionate, educated in caring for women and their families in the antepartum or postpartum periods. I provide, moral, physical, educational and emotional support at a time when women themselves need "mothering." The mother and baby are always the primary focus.
I am highly educated in newborn assessment, mother/baby care, breast and/or bottle feeding assistance, breast pump instruction, sibling support and much more. I will provide loving support during an emotional and exhausting time.
I am an expert in multiples, preemies, and reflux. I assist in making the transition from an individual, couple, to confident parents. I will also care for new moms post c-section, and will care for moms that have had a difficult delivery or traumatic birth.
